Serving as a recommender for an applicant to a Hutton Honors Global Internship placement
Note: Any IU instructor may act as a reference for a student. However, you should currently or previously have had the applicant as a student in one of your courses.
The recommendation form will ask you to answer the following questions:
- How long and in what context have you known the applicant?
- Have you discussed the applicant's plans to study abroad?
- In your opinion, what is the single most compelling reason for the applicant to be selected for a Hutton Honors Global Internship?
In addition, you will be asked to indicate your opinion of the student on a 1-5 scale regarding areas, such as dependability, maturity, and work ethic. You may add any comments you deem appropriate.
If you have any questions, please contact hiep@iu.edu.
