If you have been asked by an undergraduate student to submit a reference on their behalf for their Hutton Honors Study Abroad application, you will submit your letter through the online Hutton Honors Study Abroad Instructor Reference form.
How to complete an Instructor Reference Form for an applicant to a Hutton Honors Study Abroad program
Note: Any IU instructor may submit a form on behalf of a student. However, you should currently or previously have had the applicant as a student in one of your courses.
On the form, you will be asked to answer the following questions:
- How long and in what context have you known the applicant?
- Have you discussed the applicant's plans to study abroad?
- In your opinion, what is the single most compelling reason for the applicant to be admitted to a Hutton Honors Study Abroad program?
In addition, you will be asked to indicate your opinion of the student on a 1-5 scale regarding areas, such as dependability, maturity, and work ethic. You may add any comments you deem appropriate.
If you have any questions or need to edit a submitted form, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
Instructor reference forms are due by the program's final deadline.
